John showed Sunny around Rancho Coastal Humane Society last week after the arrival of another plane of dogs & cats from the flood. Although the animals weren't direct victims of the natural disaster, they were displaced to make room for more animals who are in need after the tropical storm took over! We immediately fell in love, and we can assure you that you will too.

Even though we want to take them all home, the best we can do is spread the word about the animals searching for a new place to call home!

If you’d like to adopt from the Rancho Coastal Humane Society, you can stop by at their location here: 389 Requeza St, Encinitas, CA 92024. Feel free to give them a call (760) 753-6413, or visit their website.

Hurricane Harvey has been such a saddening event, and it's so great to see OUR LOCAL SAN DIEGO humane societies doing something for The United States. As dogs and cats come in from the affected areas and flooded parts of Texas making room in Louisiana, San Diego is going to take them in and help them find homes (especially now that Florida is in danger as well).

We met some fur babies who just want to say hi! Look for more featured Sunny pets, and pets who could use our support.

"No animal should die, because they were born in the wrong state."

If you're unable to adopt, you can always donate to the cause as many of us SanDiegans have done!
