This Week In Music - Bon Jovi ((VIDEO))

March 12, 2018

It was this week in 1983 that Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and Alec John Such formed the band Bon Jovi!

Their fourth album, 'New Jersey', released in 1988, is notable for producing five Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 singles, the most top ten hits to date from a hard rock album.  But it was their 1986 album, 'Slippery When Wet', that gave us songs that are considered their best known songs.   'Wanted Dead Or Alive', 'You Give Love A Bad Name' & 'Livin' On A Prayer'.  Did you know that those last two songs were written in Jon's Mom's basement?

Lead Singer Jon Bon Jovi just went into the wine business with his son.  The first release is a Rose inspired by his vacations in the Hamptons called 'Diving Into Hampton Water'.

Enjoy this one from Mom's basement!
